To support our exceptional teams who develop outstanding products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for an Environment Health Safety Manager (a) at Flex Hägglingen / AG and Küssnacht am Rigi / SZ.

In the role of Environment Health Safety Manager (a), you report to the Regional EH&S Director and are responsible for ensuring compliance with the required company and legal standards and regulations, as well as for the efficient management of environmental, health, and safety programs in offices and production facilities.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Ensuring compliance with Swiss, cantonal, EU, and internal EHS regulations, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards;
  • Conducting inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions;
  • Delivering training sessions on health, safety, environmental protection, and chemical handling;
  • Maintaining permits and safety documentation, as well as preparing reports for authorities and internal stakeholders;
  • Analyzing pollutant exposure, managing waste databases for local and corporate reporting, and monitoring environmental reviews and audits;
  • Collaborating with site management, operational departments, and global EHS teams to implement best practices and achieve strategic sustainability goals;
  • Supporting compliance with fire safety regulations internally and during external audits (e.g. FM Global);
  • Leading initiatives to improve safety culture, workplace safety, ergonomics, and environmental performance.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Completed technical education (University of Applied Sciences, completed apprenticeship and further training);
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss labor law and accident insurance law, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and fire safety regulations;
  • Relevant professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment;
  • ASGS specialist certification;
  • Category B driving license;
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and motivation to work in a multidisciplinary, international team;
  • Independence, willingness to learn, strong self-organization skills, proactivity, and analytical and interconnected thinking.
