To support our engineering team, we are looking for you as Process Engineering Manager (a) for our Flex site in Hägglingen, Switzerland. In this role, you will report to the Head of Program Management & Engineering and be responsible for managing a Tech Center and a team of Process Engineers working on optimizing process capabilities to support operations and new project implementation.

Process Engineering Manager - Injection Molding (a) 100% 

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of process engineers and application engineers to establish and maintain statistical process control systems and statistical analysis;
  • Design of injection molding machines including peripherals such as robotics, cooling units, drying and conveying;
  • Development of the injection molding process, definition of the process for production;
  • Qualification of the equipment and validation of the process (depending on the design, assistance or preparation);
  • Create and improve process capabilities;
  • Develop and maintain process documentation;
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Program Management team colleagues to support customers in the design of new products ( DFM );
  • Lead initiatives to increase output and reduce scrap in existing production;
  • Setting standards for injection molds and optimizing molds for optimal production;
  • Sampling and process development at the SGM;
  • Management of development projects with the aim of meeting product specifications, delivery and cost expectations of customers;
  • Collaboration with universities to implement new technologies;
  • Occasional travel within the DACH region to universities, material manufacturers, customers, suppliers etc.translate

The experience with which we want to strengthen our team:

  • Completed training in the technical field, e.g. as a design engineer, polymechanic or plastics technologist. Higher education specializing in plastics manufacturing and process technology with experience in medical technology, pharmaceuticals and/or regulated industries with initial management experience is a prerequisite;
  • Sound experience with Six Sigma, SPC, filling simulation / virtual injection molding;
  • Strong coordination, communication and presentation skills;
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills are a prerequisite;
  • Car driver's license.
